MEET THE FOUNDERS
Gianna
The younger sister of the duo, Gianna leans towards caring for animals with unique and complex needs, often fostering cats who are injured or living with disabilities. Despite already sharing her home with her five cats, one dog, and a guinea pig, she never hesitates to make space for an animal in need. Behind the scenes, Gianna manages the rescue’s finances, ensuring donations are allocated carefully to cover veterinary care, supplies, and all other costs necessary to keep the rescue running.
Outside of her volunteer rescue work, Gianna works full-time in proposal writing and pet sits on the side, giving her even more opportunities to care for animals. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through workout classes, Yin yoga, and meditation, discovering new coffee shops, exploring with her pup, or unwinding with a good binge-worthy show.
Gab
Gab, the mastermind behind our marketing and events coordination, tends to focus on helping the unsocialized or sick kitties who just need some time and patience to trust humans and/or recover. She also dedicates her time to TNRing cats when possible. Gab and her boyfriend, Matt, have 5 cats and 2 dogs, and are home to many of our long-term/unadoptable fosters as well.
Gab works in recruiting full time and spends most of her free time doing rescue work. When time allows, she enjoys being in nature, reading, spending time with her pets, or simply grabbing coffee with friends. She’s also an avid thrifter, always on the lookout for unique finds to give new life, and loves trying out new baking recipes.
