Please only fill out an application for a specific AVAILABLE cat(s). All available kittens and cats are posted on our Instagram “ADOPT” tab and may be featured on Petfinder.

adoption requirements

  • In order to adopt through Foster the Furbabies, you must be at least 20 years or older, and all members of your household must be aware of and approve of the adoption. 

  • If you rent, please be prepared to provide your renter’s Pet Policy Agreement. 

  • Our foster animals are located in Sicklerville or West Berlin, NJ or surrounding areas. You must be willing and able to pick up your new cat(s) in a proper carrier. 

    • Please note: we only adopt to homes within a reasonable driving distance (i.e. up to 10 hours) unless otherwise specified. 

  • Adoption Fees are required and non-negotiable. They include spay/neuter, FVRCP + rabies vaccines, FIV/FeLV snap test, microchip, deworming, initial flea & tick preventatives, and other medical care as necessary:

    • Single Kitten: $165

      • Note: Single kittens less than 6 months old are only adoptable to homes with another playful cat. If you have any concerns, we would encourage you to educate yourself on the negative effects of Single Kitten Syndrome.

    • Pair of Kittens: $300

    • Adult Cats: $125

  • Depending on the cat’s age and previous medical history, you may be required to finish FVRCP booster vaccine(s) with your vet or a clinic and send us proof of records.

adoption process

Once your application is approved, we will contact you via email or text to schedule a required FaceTime/video chat meet & greet where you can see your cat of interest in action, ask pertinent questions, hear more background/info on the cat, and show us your home. We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a public adoption center. We do not offer in-person meet & greets unless otherwise discussed.
