Please only fill out an application for a specific AVAILABLE cat(s). All available kittens and cats are posted on our Instagram “ADOPT” tab and may be featured on our website.

In order to adopt through Foster the Furbabies, you must be 20 years or older. We are based in Sicklerville, NJ, and we adopt out within a reasonable driving distance of our location (for example, 5 hours) unless there is a special circumstance. Our adoption fees are $165 for one kitten, $300 for a pair of kittens, and $125 for adult cats. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, applicable vaccinations, FIV/FELV test (only for kittens/cats who are 6+ months old), microchip, dewormer/deflea treatment, and any other medical needs during foster care. You will be expected to finish out any necessary vaccinations after adoption and you will be required to send us proof with vet records.

If you’re interested in adopting a single kitten, please note that we only adopt out single kittens to adopters who own another cat. A home with a younger or playful cat is preferred; alternatively, we encourage kitten adoptions in pairs. If you have any concerns, we’d encourage you to educate yourself on the negative effects of single kitten syndrome. Additionally, if you have current pets, please be prepared to provide your renter’s Pet Policy Agreement and/or vet records if requested.

If approved and matched up with a kitten or cat in our rescue program, we require a non-refundable deposit of $50 per cat/kitten. We are a foster-based rescue. We do not have a public adoption center/location, so we do not allow physical meet-and-greets unless otherwise discussed. However, we do include Facetime/video chat meet-and-greets during the approval process. Once approved, we will contact you to discuss next steps.

Please note that you may be expected to pick up your new kitten/cat from a foster family’s home that may not be based in Sicklerville, NJ; however, all of our fosters are local to the South Jersey/Philadelphia area.

All of our current policies are in place for a reason and are non-negotiable.
